We come from a dark abyss; we end in a dark abyss; the luminous interval between we call Life.
Giorgos Mazonakis was born in Nikaia on 4 March 1972 and released his first album, «Μεσάνυχτα και κάτι», in 1993. His anniversary concert at Technopolis, Athens, planned for 20 September 2026, carried the title «33 χρόνια από το Α έως το Ω»: 33 years, from Alpha to Omega. He died on 9 September 2026, eleven days before it.
According to HELLO! Greece, he opened his last television interview («Τετ α τετ», ALPHA Cyprus, broadcast 12 July 2026) by saying that his years in singing were 33, «σαν του Χριστού», like Christ's.
